This is a raised letter regular made by Wham-O early in 1967. According to Flying Disc Museum (FDM) ....This disc shows the progression of the production of the Regular. This iteration shows the addition of the word Wham-O and the ® after Frisbee in raised letters on the front of the disc. The disc does not have any T.M. script and still lacks the patent number. The Copyright text shows Pat. Pend and has been changed slightly from the 2A mold. The tooling is improved, but the word Wham-O no longer aligns with the text above it. The interesting thing about this disc is it has the same mold identifier as the Wham-O Flying Saucer, Style 6, (\4) BUT it has the same script as the Wham-O Flying Saucer Style 1! We believe this disc fits in between the 2A mold and the 4 mold because the \4 has the same script as the 4 mold. The 4 mold really cleaned up the script and moved the words slightly. Additionally, the 4 mold came out of packaging the FDM has determined was the first packaging produced. This is a very rare Regular.
