Just like the original P1, the P1X's flight characteristic is very straight at high speeds. The medium-sized bead was added to bring a level of comfort and trust to the putter line that fans of a beaded putter were missing. The bead also helps the disc keep its flight characteristics for a longer period of time as it wears in. The P1X is ideal for a putter and it works great as an approach disc.
