Product description:
Arbor’s old-school floater - the Cross Step is designed with a
classic longboard shape. A surf-inspired rocker delivers an
exceptionally forgiving flex, ideal for controlling speed, absorbing
varied surfaces, and throwing big radius turns. A long, wide,
flat profile supports footwork and nose ridding. The Cross Step
features artwork from renowned surf artist, Rick Rietveld - a Southern
California native, who co-founded Maui & Sons, and directed all of
its artistic efforts through the 80’s.
Eco-Technologies:
Sustainably Sourced Hardrock Maple Plys - Maple provides the best blend of durability
and light-weight performance. It's also redially available and affordable, allowing
us to offer a price point that is uncommonly low for an eco-product.
Sustainably Sourced Stringer-Pattern deck - This power ply, which is made from
a variety of sustainably sourced hardwoods, creates a classic old-school style,
while providing our customers with improved return and lasting durability.
Recycled Glass - Crushed recycled glass is used in our clear re-grip to replace
highly processed grip tapes - allows the natural grain to remain visible, while
providing better performance than the silica bead-based alternatives.
Water-Based Finishes - All Arbor skates are produced using a water-based sanding
sealer and final finish as the best way to help protect the air we all breath,
especially when skating…
Recycled Plastic Risers - All Arbor completes are shipped with recycled plastic
risers, which helps both Arbor and our customers reduce our reliance on petroleum
and contribution to land fills.
Reclaimed Wood By-product - all wood by-product created during the production
of our skates is reclaimed for use in other Arbor products or by outside companies,
which helps stretch a key resource, while reducing the strain on land fills and
forests.
