AULT Skate Park
Location: Town of Ault, East of Fort Collins.
Details: Free, concrete slab with metal ramps and boxes. This park has no pad rules and is open from dawn to dusk. This park includes 4 mini ramps, two quarter pipes, a couple of boxes, rails and a spine. The best thing about this park is that it is in the middle of nowhere and I have never seen it crowded.
Directions: From I-25 take the Highway 14 exit to Ault. Head East approximately 15 miles into the town of Ault. As soon as you begin to slow down to enter into town start looking for the park on your left (North). This town is too small to miss the skatepark.
BERTHOUD Skate Park
Location: 209 Mountain Avenue, Berthoud, CO 80513
Details: This free skatepark was created in the summer of 2002 on a concrete slab. The park is in pretty bad shape, but it is probably the smoothest piece of ground in the small town of Berthoud. It features various wooden and metal obstacles, including: Two quarter pipes, Concrete pyramid, Fun box, and a Small rail.
Directions: Get off I-25 at the Highway 56 exit and go West to Berthoud. The road will veer to the left, but you should continue straight to Berthoud and you will now be on Mountain Ave. The park should be on your left in the middle of the town.
CHEYENNE Skate Park
Location: 45 Minutes North of Fort Collins on I-25.
Details: Cheyenne skatepark is a free, unsupervised facility. According to the sign, full pads are required, but I have never seen anyone wear any. I am not sure if the pad rule is enforced. The sign also stated that the park is only open during daylight hours, but the park has lights and I believe that it stays open until 10:00. Anyway, this park has many different features for both street and transition skaters. The only downside is that the park can be very windy and cold. The park features: Bank ledges, 3', 4', and 5' quarters, 5' spine, Rails, 2 fun boxes, Pyramid, ...too many things to list.
Directions: Take I-25 North until you reach Cheyenne. Exit I-80 and go East. Then turn left (North) on Highway 85. Follow for awhile and turn right on East Pershing Blvd. Turn left on Windmill Drive and the skatepark is on the left side ot the road.

All of these can be transported around for unique skating obstacles. Interesting things are always there to skate. The crash factor is high due to the asphalt.

LARAMIE Skate Park
Location: Labonte Park, Laramie, Wyoming. 1 Hour North of Fort Collins.
Details: This is an all concrete park designed by Team Pain (teampain.com). This park is not very large but is very smooth and full of lines. It is a transition oriented park, so if you are looking for street you had better just go skate the University of Wyoming campus. The park does have a few ledges, a rail, and a pyramid. The best features of the park include the roll in, a 4' spine, a fly out to bank, and a huge "twinkie" that is in the middle of the park to help keep up your speed. Team pain is know for doing quality work and this park is proof of that. It is a free park with no pad rules. Open all day long.

LOVELAND Skate Park
Location: Loveland, CO - Junior Achievement Park at West 10th Street.
Details: This park is a little small and seems cramped. All of the ramps and rails are squeezed into an area about the size of small basketball court. Most of the features are not placed that well, but because of the limited space it is to be expected. There are no rules and the park is open all day. This park includes: 3' metal mini ramp, 4' quarter pipe, Pyramid with rail, Square flat rail, 2' box, and a Banked rail.
Directions: From Fort Collins take Shields South into Loveland. In Loveland the street name changes to Taft. Follow Taft past Eisenhower and take a left on W 10th st. Take a right on Hersinger. Follow the road as it veers left, the park is on the left.
WELLINGTON Skate Park
Location: 10 Miles North of Fort Collins.
Details: I wouldn't go out of my way to skate this park, but if it is better than skating the curb out in front of your house. Two 2 1/2 foot quarters and a 4 foot quarter pipe make up the perimeter of the park. One small flat rail and one small round rail point at the pyramid. The pyramid is almost bigger than the ramps, so to skate it you have to get creative. This park does require you to wear a helmet and is open from 6-10 pm. The cops often stop by and will give you a ticket if you break the rules.
Directions: Take I-25 to the Wellington exit. Go West into Wellington and begin looking to the right side of the road for the park. It is across the street from the post office. The park is fenced in and nestled next to a basketball court, so it is easily seen.
WINDSOR Skate Park
Location: South of Fort Collins on I-25.
Details: This is a very new park and at the time of writing this it is half done and skateable. The park is a free facility with no rules or regulations. There are no lights so you can only skate during the day. It is a concrete park with wood features to be added at a later date. This is a rather large facility and when it is done should be one of the better parks in Northern Colorado. Features include but are not limited to: 3' kidney pool, Assorted banks and ledges, Handrails, 4', 5' and 6' quarters, and Stairs.
Directions: From I-25 take the Windsor exit. Follow into Windsor and take a right (South) on Seventh St. About half of a mile down Seventh you will encounter a four way stop. Take a right on Eastman and the park is on your left. Be careful where you park, the cops drive by about every hour and write tickets to those who park in the street.
